Presentation Guidelines

1- Lecture Presentation

The duration of a presentation slot is 20 minutes: 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions.

General Considerations:

  • Limit the number of words per visual to no more than 20.
  • Leave space, at least the height of a capital letter, between lines of text.
  • All fonts, including those on graphs, should be 18 point or larger.
  • Graphs and charts should have bold lines and symbols that contrast sharply with the background.

2- (Interactive) Poster Presentation

Please note that the presentations of the interactive poster sessions are composed of two parts:

1- Flash oral presentation (less than 4 minutes) with no questions and the support of at most 4 slides.

2- Poster session following the Flash Oral Presentation: authors are expected to be available to answer any questions from the attendees.

In order to make the poster sessions run smoothly, some cooperation from you, as a poster exhibitor, is necessary. First of all, it is essential that your poster is put up 15 minutes before the session start and removed at the end of the day.

The placement of your poster will be marked on the panel. Look for your number in the conference program.

The size of the poster panel that is available to each presenter is A0 size, i.e.:

Height: 118.9cm/3.9 feet

Width: 81.4cm/ 2.67 feet
